Terms of service

These terms cover the agreement between you and Blisszeno Limited when you book a trip with us. We've kept them readable — booking a holiday shouldn't require a law degree.

Last updated: January 2026 · Blisszeno Limited, Queenstown, New Zealand

1. Who we are and what we do

Blisszeno Limited ("blisszeno", "we", "us") is a New Zealand-registered travel agency based at Suite 305, Building 7, Remarkables Park Town Centre, Frankton, Queenstown. NZBN 9429048761234.

We design itineraries and make bookings on your behalf with third-party suppliers — lodges, transport operators, activity providers, restaurants and licensed venues. We act as your agent: the accommodation, transport and experiences themselves are delivered by those suppliers under their own terms.

2. Booking & payment

  • A trip is confirmed once you approve the written itinerary and pay the deposit shown on it (typically 25%).
  • The balance is due 45 days before departure unless your itinerary says otherwise.
  • Prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include our planning fee plus supplier costs at the time of quoting.
  • Quotes are valid for 14 days — supplier prices move, especially in summer.
  • We accept bank transfer and major cards through our payment processor. We never ask for card details by email.

3. Changes & cancellations

By you

  • Itinerary tweaks before final payment are free — that's what the draft stage is for.
  • Cancelling 45+ days out: deposit refunded minus any non-refundable supplier costs already incurred (we'll show you exactly what).
  • Cancelling 21–45 days out: 50% of the trip cost refunded.
  • Cancelling under 21 days: refund depends on supplier policies — we'll fight for whatever's recoverable, but expect it to be limited.

By us or by suppliers

If a supplier cancels (weather, closure, mechanical), we rebook the closest equivalent or refund that component in full. If blisszeno cancels a trip outright — which has never happened, but terms need it — you get everything back.

Weather & force majeure

Alpine country does what it wants. Weather-dependent activities carry backup options in your itinerary; where no equivalent exists, we refund or credit the affected component.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Accurate details — names as they appear on passports, correct dates, honest dietary and mobility notes.
  • Travel documents — valid passport, visas and any entry requirements for New Zealand are on you (though we'll remind you what's needed).
  • Travel insurance — strongly recommended; we can suggest providers but don't sell policies ourselves.
  • Behaviour — you're responsible for your conduct with suppliers and venues. Licensed venues enforce 18+ rules on gaming floors; we can't override that.

5. Liability

We plan carefully, but we don't operate the lodges, boats or vehicles on your itinerary. To the extent the law allows:

  • We're liable for our own planning errors — if we book the wrong dates, we fix it at our cost.
  • We're not liable for supplier failures, weather events, or circumstances outside our control — though we will always help you rebook or claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

6. Website use & governing law

Content on this site — text, design, branding — belongs to Blisszeno Limited. You're welcome to browse, share links and print itineraries we made for you; scraping or republishing our content commercially is not okay.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. If we end up in a dispute, the courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction — though in twelve years we've never needed one. We always pick up the phone first.
